Well, Apple didn’t disappoint! There’s a TON of new stuff in 4.0!
Their ad support and multitasking is going to be HUGE. I can’t emphasize that point enough. The ads they showed were truly immersive and miles beyond any of the current (crappy) banner-ad type mobile ads that are out there now.
And the folders for apps! Sorely needed. Now I can organize in a much more minimalist way. Instead of screen “pages” organized by app type, now I can just drop them into folders.
And I didn’t even scratch their gaming infrastructure (Xbox Live, anyone?) or the Fast App switching! Now your app is truly paused when exiting. Exciting times, people!
